I once said to Miss C that some people only make an effort to say hello when they want something from you.
So far, it has proven to be true.
Is that me being cynical again or just me being perceptive?

- i read but not enough.... i do martial arts but not enough.... i draw and paint but not enough.... spot a pattern here? i am desperately trying hard to be a "better" person if for no other reason than to simply show someone that i am trying too. Of course, I, knowing the realities of how these things work, am probably not working as hard as i should be, knowing that it is essentially, all for nothing.
