As usual, I sent Miss C a message to see if she's interested and surprise of surprises, she said yes.
In hindsight, it kinda makes sense as this time, it is a Modern Art Exhibition year; I mean, did I really expect here to come watch me stroke little model buildings and play with random spatially themed installations?
The past few times I've been to Venice, it really was for the Biennale and so only stayed for at most, two nights so actual tourist style sight seeing was never on the agenda. It made sense to stay a bit longer this time and actually enjoy the place so I added two extra days to the plan to make a four nights/five days trip.
As an added bonus, the flights cost me a grand total of £20 per person; that is £10 each way.
If I had an Electron card, it would've been half that as the actual flight each way for the dates I booked was a puny £5.
How is that even possible?
It costs me less to fly to Venice than it does to buy a One Day Travelcard?
